Unplugged #1(practice) night

Ok I have been trying to do my first unplugged for over a week now, but with various things i havent been able to switch off.

We have had film fest all week so its been virtually impossible to not be techy. I was going to have my unplugged day on Wednesday but that didnt happen so had it Thursday instead!

I have set the rules for myself as follows:

1. No Phone
2. No computer – that included the laptop
3. No WoW or other games
4. No DS-Lite
5. No TV*

What I am including is my i-Pod as i can work about the house and disover all the songs that i didnt know existed on it and also i am including watchin movies -which i know falls under no tv – but by that i mean no crap shitty shows that suck the night away before you know it. At least with movies me and the other half Lee can snuggle up on the couch and had “us” time on the same token.

So thursday i was all techy until about 8pm – i got chatting to old firends on messenger things but decided it was the night i would dye my hair. So switched off – late in the night i know but that was me until this morning – and i need to get out of that habit.!

Anyway decided i would try a new kit that is made escpecially for dark hair to lighten and dye red. 2 bottles later and almost and hour or rising my roots had gone orange/red and the res of my hair (which is black) was virtualy untouched!!!! Damn you black hair! So will have to make an appointment with a salon neat then end of the month to get the black stipped and all over red for the autumn – want to have nice red hair for the wedding…. which isnt until next August so can either grow the roots out myself and save £100 or blow £100 and get it done now… think the grow out and wait option is the ideal one but i want it changed now and become very impatient when it come to my hair.

So anyway when i was waiting for the dye to work its (non)magic i lay on the bed and read my book.

A very boring unplugged first night and sure it can be classed as one or not at it was well after my limit (5:30pm) so think will make this uplugged practice night instead =)
