worst packaging ever!

Ok i totally forgot to post about this…

Last week i bought some makup from Boots online and thought to myself since its small i will just get it sent home addy instead of work

here is what i got in comparison to my mobile..

Really small square box with concealer in – so what do you imagine it came in?

A padded envelope?

A small box?

I couldnt belive that that tiny little box of makeup came in that shoe-size box with all that brown paper!! No wonder it was sent by couier.

I had a to do with the couier company as they deliverd it twice when i was out to work so i got a card that said it would be delviery 1 more time and if i wasnt in to recieve it would be sent back. So i call them up – get some really foreign operator who really wasnt any help at all – but thats another story! Anyway asked him he could send the parcel to my work but it was out of the district the depot was in so they wouldnt pass on the glasgow depot to deliver to work, i began to have an argument with him by stating that it was a small package so it should easily fit though my letter box (at this point i didnt know about the box above!) and that i was rediculous that he couldnt forward it to the glasgow depot. Eventually i said will he delivery to my mum address – he said provided it was within the depot area – was getting ready to scream at this guy at my mum only stays 20min away in falkirk so knew fine well it would be ok but the way he was going out it might not be!!

In the end mum gets it and calls me at work and explains that it a huge box – i was livid!! In the age of Britain promoting recycling and the use of less packaging Boots certain is going the wrong about it. Sent off a firm and slighty pissed of email to them regarding said box as it cost me £2.95 for bloody delivery !!! when really if it was a jiffy bag it would be much much less.

wish i had just went into town and bought the bloody stuff now but kenw i wasnt going to get into town any time soon so though net is the best option

Note: I wil never use Boots online again!!
