Domestic goddess in training
Woo hoo!
I have had the most successful cooking experience today =) Lee took a notion to make Apple and Blackberry crumble after reading his friends blog posting such a recipe. So I headed out to Asda to get the ingredients and also the stuff to make our own home-made burgers after I discovered a recipe for that on the blog also =)
We made the crumble together and it just smells so good! Its still cooking away in the oven so not sure how that tastes as of yet, but the burgers…. oh my god the burgers!
The burgers if I do say so were bloody amazing! I took charge of this recipe and I am well impressed with the outcome =)
Will post recipe and photos later – the oven is beeping so the crumble is done! yay I did say to Lee the other day that I want to dig out the recipe books and see what we can drum up, really want to try baking, so if the crumble turns out A-OK think will see what I can do next.
Had midwife appointment today for my 28 week (even though im 29 tomorrow) check up.
She says I’m measuring just fine and have a nice wee neat bump – all baby and no fluid. She also said I might start to feel Braxton Hicks – which are kinda like false contractions, and also said that Jack is breech (hes head is now under my right ribs!) and I need to try and facilitate him to turn so I have invested in one of those Gym Balls to sit on to stop me slouching on the couch as that gives him more space to have it head up to ribs so hopefully by sitting straigher he will turn downwards and apparently stay there……
So will see. I am begining to get a sore back sitting on the couch any way so think the ball will help, get to bounce about on it as well so kinda like doing mini exercise at the same time lol.
Well im off to get my crumble!
Laters,
~x~

I am terrible at cooking, I always burn things ‘cos I am scared they will be undercooked and I will give everyone food poisoning! But that is so cool you made your own burgers and pie. I would love to be able to cook, it’s so much more healthier and I bet it was fun! Be great to see the recipe.
Oh wow, that must be so amazing to hear your own babies heartbeat and stuff! I wish you all the best for the future!
