Santa where are you?

I am knackered!

Been up since 9am with the wee man and haven’t really stopped all day. Cooked a gammon joint then prepared the vegetables for the soup that we are having tomorrow. Once the gammon was cooked I made the soup (it was going in the soup!) and then just tidied up the house for mum coming over tomorrow.

We decided to go food shopping yesterday – we spent 3 hours in Asda and most of that was waiting in the queue for the checkout! Ouch! I said next year we are going to be more organised, but we probably wont be. We got a turkey crown instead of a full turkey since there is only the 3 of us and we are going to Newcastle on Sunday so don’t want too many leftovers.

The tree is full of presents for Jack – i think mine and Lee’s are there somewhere! Plus he still has presents to get from my mum and even more on Sunday! hes going to be a spoiled little lad tomorrow and I am so excited to see him play with the paper and the boxes and ignore all the toys lol

This year is the first white chirstmas we have had in a long long time – I would go as far to say its been about 20yrs since I remember having snow on Xmas day! God that makes me feel/sound old -I would have been 8 yrs.

Im going to have a bit of me time and watch tv we have sky+ a lot of films today and scheduled over the next few days and since the wee man is finally in bed I get peace to watch them =)
