Clear out day 2

Well had another productive day today!

We took the wee man over to nana’s for a few hours so we could do some more tidying.

Today was the lofts turn! We managed to clear it out and take a car full to the tip – along with about 10 bags of clothes! I even went through all of Jacks clothes and divided them up into piles – keepsakes, pass on,  eBay and charity shop. Going to give eBay a go first with the clothes and if they dont sell then will take them off to a charity shop.

We still have several boxes of books in the loft that we want to hold onto a wee bit longer, I am a bookworm but really see the space benefit of having an eReader. So I really want to get rid of them the now, but happy to leave them a wee bit longer. They will go out in the next cull.

Its feels really great to get rid of so much stuff, granted it wasnt stuff you could see as it was outta sight outta mind. But by clearing the loft it freed up room to put Lee’s electric drum kit up there which in turn freed up our downstairs cupboard – so we now can use it to hang coats and store outdoor shoes like wellies and Jacks buggy/bike.
