Marriage is it overrated?

I think this ties in nicely with the end of BE-Society’s wedding theme for the month of September,

Do you think that marriage is overrated?

I know a lot of people who see marriage as just a piece of paper and a ring and that you don’t need that to show you love someone. But I think marriage is way more than just a bit of paper and a ring!

Marriage is about making a commitment to one another to stick together though thick or thin, til death do you part and all that stuff, its about being united as a couple and showing the world that you respect one another and want to be with that person.

I am not married yet, but one day it will happen its just that life has gotten in the way as well the financial implication of having a wedding – though I have gotten some good budget ideas from the BE Society wedding series that’s for sure!

I would like, if you could take the poll below and see how your opinion stacks up with other people around the world.

I think a lot of people take marriage for granted. It’s so easy to just walk away from marriage today that some of the people who are able to get married don’t take it as seriously as it should be.
