Must Have Series: Android apps (part 1)

I am going to try do a wee series of posts on the blog, just for fun to see how they go 🙂 your input/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hubby is team Apple when it comes to phones but I have been team android for a few years now, and have become quite used to using the same ones over and over.

My phone is my computer basically, I do have a netbook, but tend not to get peace to sit down on it so my phone has become my replacement. And I use it for way more than just taking calls and text messages.

So I thought I would share with you my personal, must have apps. And I would love to hear of any others you use as a must have app.

I was going to do it all in one post, but think will divide it up in a series of post over a few weeks.

This week is social apps. We all use them whether we love or hate them.

5 Must have social apps:

1. Facebook

Ah facebook, the great time suck for everyone.  This is a large app, which unfortunately you can’t move to SD card so make sure you have plenty of room for it!

Love it or hate it chances are you will have it installed on your phone.

It’s easy to keep updated with your feed whilst on the go, and you can still check in, upload pics and now use the emotes.

It’s quite buggy sometimes, but I am using the facebook android beta testers version of the app, that anyone who has android can use.

2. Twitter:
I am just getting back into Twitter since I can now use the app on this phone, as again it is a rather a large app.

I have several Twitter accounts and the app allows me to switch between them all seamlessly and easily.

3. Google +
I am still new to G+, and still a beginner to it,  but I can see it becoming bigger as more people use it

4. Instagram
The new home of the selfie. To be honest I use this sporadically, but still class a must have app lol

5. Pinterest
I have yet to come across someone who has a Pinterest account that hasn’t got addicted to it 🙂 Now I can pin on the go.

So there you have it, my must have social apps.

Are there any apps you would recommend?

Check back next Thursday for part 2 🙂
