Week 1: Day 7

What was your first ever website called? What was it about? How long did you have it?

Oh god! This is bringing back memories this prompt.

My first ever web site was hosted on geocities way back in about 1999 – it was called “Fee Fee Trixibell’s Homepage”

God I am cringing just thinking about how bad it was if you were able to view it now, but sadly geocites is no more and I dont have any screen shots – (though I am sure that I might have some on a old hard drive somewhere) It was filled with i-frames, gif’s and random crap.

I used to blog by typing my entries into notepad then uploading them to an html doc on the site.

Used geocities to mess about with layouts and learn photoshop etc.

Moved from there in 2003 to this site 🙂 though I started using html & php and handcoding before moving over to WP.
