The big 3-0

( Sept 17th )

So its official, I am no longer in my twenties. Now I have to be an “grown” up.

Hitting the big 3-0 wasn’t all that bad actually, the girls at work made it go alot smoother than I thought it would be 🙂 They got me good at on the Thursday ( my birthday wasnt until the Sat but I was off on a long weekend the Friday Monday).

I kinda had a feeling that they were planning something but wasnt execting it that day!

They decorated the office with blown up photos of me as a baby/kid and had tons of balloons. As you can see from the pic I had to wear horns and a sash 🙂

I had an amazing day and they really made my 30th Birthday one to remember. Even got a kindle from the whip round at work!!

That is just the best present – and I was totally not expecting to get anything like that, I havent put it down since I got it 🙂

On the Friday we headed down to Newcastle for my acutal birthday and had a great weekend there. Kate got me a hot stone body massage which was just lush! think I am addicted to them now, it was just the most relaxed I have been in a long long time!

My boys got me a links of London sweetie charm bracelet and the letter J from Jack 🙂 and my mum got me a cherry charm (naturally!)

All in all I had a great birthday and being 30 isnt all that bad – I dont see why so many people hate turning 30. IT is after all just another day…..
